Harry Alhadeff has been part of the wine industry in Washington for more than three decades.
He was a member of Ordre de Mondial des Gourmets Degustateurs, and has held leadership positions in Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs and the Enological Society of the Pacific Northwest. Harry is Master Knight of Knights of the Vines of America, and past chairman of the Washington State Governor's Task Force on Liquor Policy.
1989 - Apex Cellars released its first wines. Consumers and critics agreed that these wines were consistently excellent and a good value.

Harry and winemaker Brian Carter founded Apex Cellars.

Harry founded a wine import and wholesale distributorship which operated a multi-state distribution network serving retail and food service accounts.

During this period, Harry developed and introduced a successful new brand of Northwest wine, "Northwest Daily.” Although the brand was sold in 1986, it had ignited a new passion—the winery business—which culminated in the creation of Apex Cellars.
