March 9 - If you love wine, purses, and handbags, then you'll love this second annual fashion event and wine tasting! Join Apex at this fundraiser for Gilda's Club of Seattle. All of the women who attend will bring a new or almost new purse for the silent auction portion of the event. A variety of boutique stores will be featured with their most current bag and purse designs on display. Taste wine, shop, and support a good cause!
Meet Victor Palencia, our new winemaker. Victor recently joined Apex from Willow Crest, where he was the winemaker since 2004, responsible for crafting several award-winning wines. In 2005, The New York Times interviewed Victor, who was the youngest winemaker in the country at that time. We planned to open our new tasting room at The Winemaker's Loft http://thewinemakersloft.com/ on September 1, and we've been working hard to make that happen. However, construction is taking longer than anticipated, and the license we are patiently awaiting has yet to arrive. So, due to circumstances beyond our control, our grand opening has been pushed back until later in September. As soon as we have news, we'll let you know. Keep your fingers crossed!

Just released!
It's almost summer, time for a deliciously crisp, refreshing white wine, and Apex Cellars 2006 Dry Riesling fits the bill! Winemaker Jean-Claude Beck is from Alsace, where some of the best dry rieslings in the world are made, so he crafted this wine in the same elegant style. One taste and this will become your new favorite summer sipper! Apex ’06 Dry Riesling will make its debut at The Tasting Room in Pike Place Market next week, or you can ask your local wine shop to order it for you - only 200 cases were made, so be sure to grab a few bottles before they're gone.
